Information you provide

When you create an account, Fielddex receives the account information you enter, such as your name, email address, and password. When you use Fielddex, you may add photos, possible-match details, journal notes, dates, and location-related information to private sightings and field records.

How we use it

We use this information to operate your account, provide AI-assisted possible matches and species context, save and display your field records, support your subscription access, and help maintain and improve Fielddex.

Fielddex results are AI-assisted possible matches, not confirmed identifications. Your records should not be used as the sole basis for consumption, handling, toxicology, hunting, protected-species, or emergency decisions.

Private sightings

Your field records and sightings are intended for your own Fielddex account. Fielddex does not make your saved photos, notes, or location-related details public through the product by default. Please use care when recording sensitive places or wildlife.

Sharing and payments

We may handle information as needed to run Fielddex, process a subscription you choose to purchase, comply with applicable requirements, or respond to a request you make. Payment details are handled in the checkout experience rather than entered into Fielddex directly.
